Funding for the work of the church is of course through members’ offertory donations. In 1998, we ran a successful church stewardship campaign called TRIO (The Responsibility Is Ours - a nationally-tested approach to explaining to ALL the details of the church "housekeeping budget").
In addition, we organise occasional fund-raising social events under the banner of "The Northgate Challenge". These generally include a car treasure-hunt, barbecue, garden party and pancake party (curiously, these almost all seem to involve food!)
We donate funds to local good causes and charities, to share some of what we have with others less fortunate.
