Sanctuary Audio-Visual Equipment

Extensive audio-visual equipment has recently been put in place in the sanctuary.

This enables the worship leader to display the words of hymns and prayers or to use still or moving graphics as part of the service.

This has produced a noticeable increase in the loudness of the singing as our heads are lifted up from hymnbooks

and allows the use of words not in our hymnals without extensive printing, increasing flexibility in worship preparation.

Equipment:

For the congregation:

Two 52-inch high-contrast monitors, giving a clear view from anywhere in the main worship area.

For the worship leader and choir:

  • Two smaller "confidence monitors", located near the pulpit and near the choir.
  • A DVD player.
  • A presentation controller, which enables the selection of display from a number of sources.

The displays can be controlled from the Communion table, pulpit or choir side of the dais.
